About

Stefanie Mari has been dancing her entire life, studying a wide range of styles from jazz to modern to tap.  She studied dance in college in San Francisco and has worked in the Los Angeles area as a modern dancer since then.  

She has been studying Bellydance and Middle Eastern folk dance since 2008 and has fallen in love with this beautiful dance form.  She has studied with a variety of local and international teachers, including:  Aubre Hill, Kamala Almanzar, Karim Nagi, Sahra Saeeda, Amel Tafsout, Artemis, Aleya of Cairo, and Aida Nour.  

Stefanie currently performs in the greater Los Angeles area as both a Raqs Sharqi and bellydance fusion soloist and with Aubre Hill's Qabila Folkdance Company and Lumina Bellydance Company.  She specializes in an authentically playful musicality, luscious shimmies and dynamic prop work.

BELLY DANCE IS THE PERFECT ENTERTAINMENT FOR MANY OCCASIONS, INCLUDING BIRTHDAYS, WEDDINGS, PRIVATE PARTIES, OR OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS.

  • Classic 20 Minute Show
    • Includes one costume
    • Optional props include sword, veil, fan veils, isis wings, assaya (cane) and shamadan (candelabra)
    • Music can be customized from classic bellydance music, Arabic pop music or a combination of both
  • Full 30 Minute Show
    • Can be split into two 15 minute sets
    • Pick 2 costumes
    • Optional props include sword, veil, fan veils, isis wings, assaya (cane) and shamadan (candelabra)
    • Music can be customized from classic bellydance music, Arabic pop music or a combination of both
    • Multiple dancers available
  • Restaurant Show (Length Varies)
    • Optional props include sword, veil, fan veils, isis wings, assaya (cane) and shamadan (candelabra)
    • Music can be customized from classic bellydance music, Arabic pop music or a combination of both
    • Multiple dancers available
  • Custom Fusion Show (Length Varies)
    • World, electronic, or other music to go along with the theme and vibe of your event
    • Props and stylizations can vary based upon request
